A Knight for the Kids
Now in its 5th year, the Liberty Ball promises to be an evening of elegance

Penn State at the
Philadelphia Wings
Join
the Philadelphia Chapter at the Wachovia Center to see your
Philadelphia Wings. It's an awesome atmosphere to watch the Wings!
We're offering an amazing deal to the Philadelphia Chapter. We're
getting our own club box with all you can drink beer/wine during
the Wings Game (half hr before game time - 6:30, until end of the
3rd Qtr). Face value for just the ticket is $55.00! But we're
getting Chapter members in for $40, and non-members for $45 with the
open bar.

Penn State at the
Philadelphia Phillies
The Philadelphia Chapter will be going to the Phillies
opening night game on April 14th! There are a limited
number of tickets, so get yours today. Also, arrive
early at the ballpark for happy hour at McFadden's at
the ballpark. Details to follow soon about the happy
hour.

The Dad Vail Regatta
The Dad Vail Regatta is back!
The Crew AIG would like to invite chapter

JUNE |
Philadelphia Museum
of Art “Renoir and the Impressionists"
“Renoir
in the 20th Century,” an exhibit of the famed impressionist's later
work, will make only two stops in the United States and one of those
is at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Guarantee that you will see
this special exhibit by attending this City Lights event. In
addition to the exhibit, the event also includes a reception and a
presentation on Renoir's work by Patrick McGrady, the Charles V.
Hallman Curator for Penn State's Palmer Museum of Art and an
assistant professor of art history.

Take I-95N to Exit 26 Aramingo Ave; take left onto Aramingo Ave. and
a left onto Church Street. The school is located on the right at the

From the North: Take I-95S to
Exit 27 Bridge St/Harbison Ave; merge onto James Street and make
left onto Bridge Street. Turn right onto Tacony. The school is
located on the right at the corner of Church and Tacony Streets.
From Roosevelt Blvd: Take
Wyoming Ave., make right onto Castor Ave, left onto Erie Avenue.
Erie Ave. turns into Torresdale Ave. Continue on Torresdale and make
right onto Church St. OR Take Erie Ave. as it continues into
Torresdale and follow above. The school is located on the left at
the corner of Church and Tacony Streets.

Big Ten Toys for Tots Happy Hour

Time to get in the holiday spirit! When you’re out shopping on Black
Friday remember to pick up a toy for a needy child. The Big Ten
alumni chapters of Philadelphia have put together a great event. We
will have a free buffet and two free drinks for all of our guests.
Drink specials after that will be $2 drafts and $3 mixed well
drinks. Admittance to the event will be a new, unwrapped toy, or we
will accept a minimum $10 monetary donation at the door. Take this
opportunity to meet members of the Big Ten in our city. It should be
a great chance to network and kick off the holidays.

Young Friends of the Historical Society of Pennsylvania

A Treasure Hunt and
Wine Reception

Have you ever seen a handwritten draft of the Constitution? How
about a printer’s proof of the Declaration of Independence? These
documents and many more are housed at the Historical Society of
Pennsylvania, and we are taking them out of the vault for one night
only—for a Young Friends treasure hunt. Guests are invited to view
these historic documents, find the hidden clues, and answer a list
of tricky questions. Refreshments provided by Tria.

Bowl Party. This year the Nittany Lions take on the LSU Tigers. This

Then join the Penn State Alumni Association for a unique combination

Catch tomorrow’s rising Broadway stars today! Students from Penn State’s
renowned Musical Theatre Program will perform popular Broadway show tunes and more
during an unforgettable night. Sponsored by the Penn State Alumni Association, this
fabulous musical theatre experience will be emceed by Penn State President Graham
Spanier and will include a pre-performance reception.

(5:00 p.m.) covering the basics of introductions, starting and
exiting conversations, eating while meeting, and other skills
that will allow you to easily make new connections;
- Alumni Reception (6:00
