PRESIDENT
Jason hails from
Chester County and grew up around West Chester. He started at the
University Park Campus in 1999 and found a way to stay until 2005.
In those 6 years Jason obtained a BS in Chemical Engineering and an
MS in Polymer Science. But academics were just a small part of the
experience. Jason served as a Lion Ambassador and THON Captain, as well as,
MC'ing the Homecoming Parade for a number of years. Penn State
sports also hold a special place in his life as he found a way to
work for a few of the teams. GO PSUFH! In 2009 he finally completed
the Big Ten tour of stadiums at Iowa.
Currently, Jason
works for West Pharmaceutical Services in Lionville, PA developing
packaging for medical components and closures. He spends
some of his free time coaching with the local Little League Baseball
team
and Pee Wee Football team.

TREASURER
Christina was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and currently
lives in Center City, Philadelphia. She attended University Park campus from 2001 to 2005,
graduating with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and a minor in Environmental Engineering.
While at Penn State she was involved in many activities. She was an active member of Phi Sigma Rho
sorority, serving as membership educator and on standards board. She was very involved in THON,
serving as THON chair for East Halls Residence Association in 2003 and dancing in THON 2003 and
THON 2005. Christina is a HUGE Nittany Lions Football fan and has traveled as far as Florida to
watch the Lions win in the Orange Bowl game against Florida State in January of 2006!
Since
graduation she briefly worked at Westinghouse Electric Company in Pittsburgh and currently works
at Solvay Solexis in Southern New Jersey as an Applications Engineer for Fluorinated Fluids. In her
free time she loves to travel and watch Pittsburgh Penguins hockey!

MEMBERSHIP DIRECTOR
Maribeth
is from Nazareth, PA, located in the Lehigh
Valley. She attended the University Park Campus
and graduated in 2006 with a Bachelor’s of
Science in Psychology and a minor in Movement
Science.
While at University Park,
Maribeth was active in THON and participating as
a morale committee member, dancer, and Special
Assistant Captain. She has a love for sports,
especially field hockey and Penn State
football. Maribeth was one of the campers at
the inaugural Paternoville prior to the 2005
Penn State/Ohio State game. Her love for field
hockey was evident in her dedication to Penn
State Field Hockey Club, in which she was a
player, coach, and president.
Maribeth is currently a teacher in the School
District of Philadelphia. She earned her
Masters of Education in August 2008 at Chestnut
Hill College through the Philadelphia Teaching
Fellows. She still is involved in field
hockey as a player and coach in the Philadelphia
area.

COMMUNITY SERVICE DIRECTOR
Vivian was born and raised in Los Angeles, California but has called Philadelphia home for at least a decade.
Vivian proudly attended the Abington Campus and in 2002, graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in
Administration of Justice with a minor in Sociology.
While attending Abington, Vivian helped spearhead the reactivation of a dormant club,
The Justice Association. She also participated in many activities sponsored by the Senior Class,
as well as held a board position up until graduation.
Vivian is currently working as a case manager assigned to special offenders with Public Health Management
Corporation (www.PHMC.org). PHMC is a nonprofit public health institute that builds healthier communities
through partnerships with government, foundations, businesses and community-based organizations. Vivian is
currently seeking a Master’s degree, with the intention of working with at-risk youth in the near future.

SCHOLARSHIP AND STUDENT OUTREACH DIRECTOR
Ami is from Baltimore, Maryland and is proud to be a Baltimore Ravens fan. She attended the University Park campus
and graduated in 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and a minor in Human Development and Family Studies. While at Penn State
she was involved in THON as a dancer in 2002 and served on the Morale Committee and Communications Committee during her Junior and Senior
years. She also had the opportunity to help organize “Kids Mail Call” through the Morale Committee. She served as Service Vice President,
Blood Drive Coordinator and Derby Days Chair for the Gamma Sigma Sigma Service Sorority. She loves PSU football and enjoys spending the
weekend watching the games with friends.
Following graduation, she worked as a teacher in Miami, Florida through the Teach for America program and then served as an AmeriCorps
volunteer in Montgomery County, Maryland.
She received her Master’s Degree in Public Policy from Johns Hopkins University in May of 2008 and has been working in the Mayor’s
Office of Education as a Policy Assistant ever since. She is able to combine her passions for education and her alma mater through
the position of Scholarship and Student Outreach Director.
